Our First Mystery Skype . . .

Finally . . . Our first Mystery Skype. This was the first of many. Here's how it works! Our class connects with another class in the United States. We don't know where they are! Each class asks yes/no questions to narrow down in finding state. Students have maps and cross off states that have been eliminated. I will explain Mystery Skype more by blogging about the next few skypes. Throughout the year, we will try

 to connect with all states as well as many other countries!

You will be amazed at what your child will learn by Mystery Skyping. We'll learn about geography all around the United States! Your child already knows where the Mississippi River is, where the Great Lakes are located, and how to locate the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. We will learn about many other cultures when we begin skyping outside of the USA.
