Communities . . .

We've been working on learning about different types of communities and what each type includes. In our Daily 5 time students have worked on activities to learn about the

3 types of communities: urban, rural, and suburban. We worked together to make a chart listing characteristics of each type. Students worked in small groups to make a mural about a specific type of community. During the activity, it looked as though our room had exploded! But, they did a super job collaborating, writing about, and illustrating the 3 types of communities. We have been working on this in preparation for our Mooresville Community Tour!
