What a wonderful surprise to have author Barbara Bradley

visit 2nd grade at South! She read her book, Dream Big Henry, to classes that were paired up. Our class went to Mrs. Judd's room to hear Mrs. Bradley. Henry is the main character in the story and he is a bug.

Henry isn't like other bugs, he is in a wheelchair. He has to learn to fit in in a new school! This story is a great lesson in friendship and perserverance. What a treat to have an authorshare her book! Students asked questions about what it is like to be an author and how she gets her ideas. I can't wait to add Dream Big Henry to our class library!
