Night Zookeeper . . . A GREAT Time . . .

What an awesome time we had on Friday with Paul, The Night Zookeeper. We started with the whole school meeting in the gym to meet The Night Zookeeper. He told us to be on the lookout for The Spying Giraffe! I heard that he was spotted on the kindergarten hall. The second graders met with The Night Zookeeper in the gym later to learn new tricks of the Night Zoo and check out some super writing. Paul was just super in working with our students and

encouraging their writing! I'm hoping to see some great writing in the weeks ahead. Remember, Night Zookeeper is something that your child can do at home! Writing has never been so fun! Later in the day our class had a GREAT treat! Paul ended the day by spending the last 45 minutes with us. He taught us about Voidbots, and we wrote about them. He also read a chapter of Night Zookeeper and The Spying Giraffes! You will have an opportunity to purchase the book, a form will be coming home on Monday. A huge thanks goes out to Paul for making a trip to the USA and spending time with us!
