These mealworms are just havin' a little lunch!

mealworms. They are moving right along. We continue to observe and care for our newest class pets. When they came to us a few weeks ago, they were all in the larva stage. I't been a learning experience (and fun) to observe the changes. Even though most of them are still in the larva stage, some of the changes we have seen are molting, growing, mealworms eating, and lots of movement. We do have some mealworms that are now in the pupa stage. They are peacefully sleeping, while awaiting to become an adult, an adult what? Hmmm . . .
