Success!

We had a wonderful Skype chat with the Mrs. Centiner's 2nd grade class from Turkey on Tuesday. I was very proud of my students, everyone showed great respect! We got a little talkative at times, but it was understandable because of the excitement. It was 3:00 in the afternoon in Turkey, and we started at 9:00 am here. We moved our chairs in front of the smartboard so they would be able to see all of our class. For some reason, there did happen to be an "unexpected behavior" technically, but it was on their side. We couldn't see their class, but we could hear them perfectly, and the screen showed a picture of their teacher. They don't have a smartboard, so it would have been hard to see everyone in their class. Ask you child about some of the things that we were asked and what we learned about the students in Turkey! We hope to Skype again SOON!
