Digital Learning Day . . .

Friday the 13th (oooh) was Digital Learning Day. We participate in a LOT of digital learning in our class, it makes learning so much fun! We also partcipate in a lot of teamwork. For Digital Learning Day we collaborated with Ms. Donlin's class in Wisconsin on a Padlet to talk about Melonhead. Ms. Donlin's class is one of our partners in the 1Book, 1World Book Club. That's a huge component of digital learning, removing the walls of our classroom and connecting with others. I'm including a link so that you can see what we all posted! The question on Padlet was "What would your mom do if you brought home a snake, and where would you hide it?" We

came up with some interesting answers. We also learned how to do a Chatterpix. Each student is to come up with one of his/her favorite books to do a small book talk about.
