Our class did a great job with the first Mystery Word. We had 5 students guess the word correctly, but a lot of guesses. We'll be learning different ways to search for the word, such as a thesaurus. The clues always follow the same pattern. One day there is an antonym for the word (opposite), and one day there is a synonym for the word (means the same). Congratulations to Wes, Benny, Amelia, Zandra, and Izabel for guessing the word correctly. Look for a sneak peek on twitter later today! Parents, it is ok for you to help your child, don't just be a "spectator"!
