Weather or Not . . .

We had a great time with Rocket Ryan on Friday from High Touch High Tech Charlotte. He always has such fun ways to teach us about the topic we are learning about! The students made hand motions as they played out the steps of the water cycle: precipitation, collection, evaporation, and condensation! Then the students were able to see how it works with tiny pasta in a jar of water and alkaseltzer. I would have never thought of that! Did you know that WE are conductors of electricity? We were able to see that in action as we experimented with the plasma globes. They all just thought that was amazing! The tornado tubes are always a hit as the students are able to make tornadoes in the large soda bottles. Fun was had by all, oh, and learning too!
