We had a great Mystery Skype on Friday with Ms. Wood's 2nd grade class at The American School of Guatemala in Guatemala City. All of the students in their school speak spanish, but only speak spanish at school for about 30 % of the day. Our class did a great job discovering their location. Here are some of the questions that were asked: Are you located in the United States? Are you located in North America? Are you in Canada? Are you south of the USA? Are you surrounded by water? Do you border the Honduras? Do you border El Salvador? Are you Guatemala? They showed us what it looked like outside their door and window. It was beautiful! The students told us that it was 80ยบ there! It's fun to communicate with students from other places to learn about our likes and differences.
