Blogging . . . Who Knew . . .

Who knew that our class is so smart!? As we have been participating in our Global Read Aloud, we've been blogging with other 2nd grade students that live in Korea, Michigan, and Wisconsin. We've been comparing predictions about the book, Marty McGuire, as well as learning about their communities and schools. We've also been creating Wordles using words that describe Marty and Veronica Grace, main characters in the story. Wordle is a site in which "word clouds" are generated by words that the students type in. Students are able to choose the fonts, layouts, and color schemes of the Wordle appearance. They are loving creating their own Wordles.
