Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you all know about Frank by now, our wonderful Trucker Buddy. Just to give you a little insight into the program, Trucker Buddy International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping educate and mentor students with a relationship between professional truck drivers and children in grades K-8. Trucker Buddy matches classes of students with professional truck drivers who share news about their travels with their class. I hit the jackpot being partnered with Frank! This is my 5th year of being partnered with him. Frank is SO wonderful about emailing us fun and educational videos and emails. He sends us postcards that the kids look forward to getting. The postcards show places where he travels and fun facts about the different places. We have learned so much from him this year as well as made a great friend! Here are a few pictures with much more to come!
We made a movie to show for Frank during his visit. Each student made a keynote page or pages for Frank. When we were finished, I picked out a song for the movie. My daughter, Caroline, took our keynote pages and song and made the movie for us!
