New Word!!!
We learned a new word last week! The word is irrelevant. We have started to have math problems that have irrelevant information. When this happens, the irrelevant information should be crossed out. Here is an example:
Mrs. Murphy bought 7 cookies and 6 brownies at the bakery. She spent $9.00. How many cookies and brownies did she buy?
The crossed out information doesn't have anything to do with solving the problem!
