Great Twitter Chat Today . . .

We had a super time today participating in a twitter chat with

Mrs. Stouffer's 2nd grade class from Florida and Mrs. Karamanos' 3rd grade class from New Jersey. We answered questions about things that are going on in"The One and Only Ivan". The questions were:

1. What kind of friend was Ivan to Stella? 
2. Why do you think Bob chooses to live at the Big Top Mall?
3. What feelings did Ruby have when she arrived at the Big Top Mall?
4. Would you like to work for a person like Mack?
5. What are some reasons that Ivan got frustrated?

We worked in groups of 2 and 3. I was really proud of the answers that our class posted! We plan to have another one

next week and Mrs. Duffie's class from SC is going to join in as well! We're all loving the book and having so much fun making global connections!
