Arbor Day . . .

Arbor Day is an annual day in which the importance of trees is celebrated! When we talk about the importance of trees, we are talking about the importance of KEEPING the trees, not what they are cut down for. A tree was donated to South that will be planted on our playground to create shade. I look forward to that. Plants were also donated to create a

butterfly garden at South. We are now part of the National Butterfly Highway! We look forward to seeing the plants develop into a beautiful garden full of butterflies. This is so important, because monarch butterflies are becoming scarce!
