Reading Poems with Mrs. P . . .

Mrs. P is a professional storyteller who loves sharing her love of reading with children. She skyped with us along with 8 other classes today in celebrating (a day early) "Poem in Your Pocket Day". Mrs. P told us that she likes to write and writes all of the time. Mrs. P writes stories, poems, and songs. She shared some tips on making writing easy and fun! Mrs. P has 1,457 pets, wow! We had

an opportunity to ask Mrs. P some questions and read some poems to her. Each class had a sign so she would know who she was talking to. She called out our class name when she was ready for us to share. We had a great time! Oh, and Mrs. P is an actress. She is Kathy Kinney and was on The Drew Carey Show.
