Author Skype with Rohini Chowdhury . . .

Our class had a wonderful Skype recently with author, Rohini Chowdury. The students get so excited listening to authors and have so many questions about how they write their books. Hearing about the passion of writing can become contagious, that's my hope for us! Rohini is from India and now lives with her family in England. She has written books for children and adults. She is also a literary translator. We are so fortunate that she was able to spend

some time with us! Rohini told us that she has always loved to write and has always kept journals. She writes everything down which is how she gets many ideas for her stories. Because of her love for stories, she has written and retold many traditional fables and folktales. She asked us questions to help us develop our own fables!
