Winter Book Fair!
South is has been fortunate to have a Winter Book Fair this year! This is not the "Buy one get one free" sale, that will be in the spring. This book fair has lots of great books, but is largely focusing on non-fiction books. That is so much of what our reading is focused on in the new Common Core Standards that North Carolina is implementing this year. I took a little time to browse this morning before school and saw lots of good choices. Students in our class will be allowed to visit the book fair each morning. Our assigned class visit it Thursday at 12:50. Feel free to meet your child there! Happy reading! You may also order books online if you don't have a chance to drop by. Your child will be able to pick up the books at South after the online order is made. I am including that link at the bottom of this post.
